Discover Write Worthy

About Us

At Write Worthy, we partner with Christian parents in teaching and inspiring students to write.  Together we help young saints learn to write in a way that is worthy of the Lord, admiring His design of our language and delighting God in their work.  We help build strong foundations in writing by offering writing classes, workshops, and other resources.

Write Worthy was established in 1998 by Telisa Williams, a teacher who loves the Lord and delights in working with kids and their parents. Telisa holds a degree in elementary education, pursued graduate studies in teaching reading, and has over 30 years of teaching experience.  She writes and teaches from her home classroom in the Pacific Northwest.

that you may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him,
being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God;
Colossians 1:10

Special Note:
We appreciate your patience and prayers during this season of change!
– In the fall of 2018, Write Worthy activities were paused so Telisa could care for her mother.  Telisa’s mom went home to be with the Lord early in 2020.  The Covid pandemic followed shortly, and Write Worthy remained closed for the school year.
– For the 2020-21 school year, Write Worthy classes, workshops, and testing will continue on pause.  During this break, we are charting a new path for Write Worthy and hope to provide new resources to assist your writing program soon.
– Meanwhile, Telisa is available to support you!  You are welcome to contact her if you have questions regarding your families’ plan for writing instruction, to join the email list for updates, or just to stay in touch.
